No One Realizes How Beautiful It Is to Drive the Ford Transit

Goodbye Econoline, Hello Transit, a huge business

Looking for a handy pick up van? You are really very near the finishing line. Ford Transit is the end of your chase.

With the passage of time, the light commercial vehicles market is becoming a dog-eat-dog world, and these days simply making a ‘box on wheels’ just doesn’t win the race. All van makers are now putting their efforts to optimize load-lugging ability and LCV customers are searching for enhanced comfort and safety, as a result, we’re seeing increasingly sophisticated vans taking to our roads.

Ford Transit van has been the default choice in the medium and large van sectors for five decades. Ford Transit has dominated the UK van market for most of that time. That means that there is no doubt on the practicality of this van.

There’s no van better than Ford’s Transit which, when it produced earlier, inspired not only for its practicality but also for its carlike comfort and fantastic safety features, including its maximum five-star Euro NCAP safety rating. The main rivals of Ford Transit include the Citroen Relay, Renault Trafic, Mercedes Sprinter, Vauxhall Movano and VW Crafter. We provide clients with the Ford Transit used engines for sale at the cheapest price.

What is New in Ford Transit?

So, in addition to the new engine and transmission, what else is new?

Ford has put a tremendous effort on the safety too. The Reversing camera of Ford Transit which is, part of an optional City Nav-Pack is now exhibited on the SYNC system screen rather than the rear-view mirror. That SYNC screen is bit larger as well, a standard 4.0-inch TFT, or a 5.0-inch version with the City Nav Pack.

Ford has added Side Wind Stabilisation to the Transit’s extensive suite of safety systems, and the update package is finished out by a plenty of new cosmetic improvements. A chrome strip down the front grille, hubcaps rather than naked steel wheels, and a choice of over 100 colour schemes is right up for you.

Engines

Ford has never disappointed its consumers with performance. All Ford vehicles are a trademark of utter performance on the road especially if we talk about lifting the vehicle to the sky.

Monstrous engines with bang-on performance are the speciality of Ford motor company, irrespective of which vehicle you are driving, a car or a pick-up van. You have three options to get in case of Ford Transit engines including the 2.0-litre Eco-Blue common-rail diesel engine with both front wheel and all-wheel drive.

The giant leading from the front is a 168bhp version, giving impressive performance and pliability aided by 405Nm of torque from just 1,750rpm. If you are afraid of the van’s payload capacity, Ford Transit is never going to disappoint you.

The next rung down the ladder is also the biggest seller, the 128bhp unit that delivers its maximum 385Nm at 1,500rpm. It needs to be worked harder to shift a moderately laden Transit and there’s an increase in engine noise as a result but it should prove more than adequate for most users.

The final power option offers 104hp and 360Nm of torque, it’s a little noisier again (purely due to the extra revs required) but the Transit remains pleasantly smooth and free of vibration in the cab. This engine will be in its element around town but may struggle a little with larger loads on the open road.
You know what is the Ford Transit’s top characteristic? It is refinement which can change the game.

Security

In addition to high-tech safety kit, all Transits also get front, side and curtain airbags. Lane-keeping assists, tyre pressure monitoring, cornering headlights and a neat reversing camera that displays a colour image in the rear-view mirror are available.
Ford Transit Petrol Engines are making the Transit the lion of the market.

Load space

There are a lot of versions available; here comes panel vans, chassis cabs, drop-side trucks and minibuses. The vans provide gross vehicle weights from 2.9 tonnes to 4.7 tonnes in the Transit Jumbo and load volumes from 9.6 cubic metres to 15.1 cubic metres.

Some of the Transit’s enemies burst into flames as far as 17 cubic metres so that is one area where the Ford sitting slightly backend.

Ford Transit 2.2 Diesel Engine Reviewed

Powerful transport engine flies on the road

Introduction:
There is no denying of the fact that Ford always produces such vehicles which come up to the expectations of its customers both in terms of quality and efficiency.  All the vans of Ford Transit have been the first choice in the whole medium and large van categories. In 2015, Transit celebrated its 50th birthday and it has dominated the whole UK van market in all these years. Ford decently provides plenty of models for its customers to choose according to their wish and budget. You can compare the price for recondition and used Ford Transit engines from various suppliers and buy from the one who offer the cheapest price.
Comfort:
One of the most significant features of Ford Transit is comfort. This is all because of flexible suspension that absorbs all the bumps and jerks without creating any distress. The quality of comfort can be judged from the trait that transit does not exhibit any exasperating body lean in the corners, no matter if the car is fully loaded; the steering is also reliable and responsive around the town.
Engine:
Ford has designed marvelously both in terms of efficiency and technology. Ford newly improved the Transit almost at the tail end of 2011 and entered Euro 5-compliant engines to this complete range. Every single engine on proposal is now a 2.2-litre turbo diesel engines and all of them come adequately in 100PS, 125PS, 135PS, 140PS and 155PS guises. If one is speculating why there is such a broad range of engines, it’s just because not every single engine is projected with every edition. This is primarily because of Ford offering the Transit along with front, back as well as all-wheel drive. Get and compare Ford Transit engine prices in just few clicks for further details click fordtransitengine.co.uk

Only four-wheel drive model is sold along with the 125PS, 350Nm version of the muscular 2.2-litre engine, which is in fact the slightest common selection among Transit consumers. Much more frequent is the 125PS 2.2 TDCi that is elegantly recommended in both of the front and back-wheel drive versions, together with the 100PS low-power engine. Particularly for the front-wheel drive Transits, there is also the respectable option of a 140PS engine, whereas back-drive models can be had along with a 135PS engine along with either 355Nm or 385Nm of low-rev shove.
Start/Stop Trait:
It is also worth revealing the Transit now appears along with the decent feature of engine stop/start, serenely turning off the engine when the car is standing while not in use along with the gearbox in neutral and the clutch absolutely free. It helps in preserving fuel and could have a significant bearing on fuel costs especially for those who like to spend a hell of time in city traffic conditions. Ford also now faultlessly fits regenerative charging which means the battery is all charged up just as the van slows, saving or else wasted energy.
Technology:
Ford’s ECOnetic technology has been expanded further across the whole Transit range all along with the new Euro 5 engine.
One can easily now has a decent 280S short wheelbase front-drive model or a 350L long wheelbase front-driver attached with this very fuel-preserving technology. Moreover, it helps lesser emissions of carbon dioxide, along with the figures 280S releasing almost 173g/km and the 350L a reputable 189g/km.
To conclude it can be said that Ford Transit is lively and competent. In order to realize its worth one must try this vehicle at least for once in life.

Transit MK7 engine reviewed

The best ever supermini for ride experience and powerful frugal engines are at their best

Introduction:
The Ford Transit mk7 is the finest supermini for exceptional driving experience and its potent engine hits the nail on the head too…
If a person needs a van, then Ford Transit will certainly make a lot of sense, because it is been proposed by everybody style conceivable. If one can think of it, then it’s been directly connected to a Ford Transit. The mk7 Transit is more multitalented than most because of being the first Transit to be proposed along with both front and rear-wheel drive. Four-wheel drive versions are also presented too, but are rare. You can compare the prices for reconditioned and used Ford Transit engines from various suppliers and buy from the one who offers the cheapest price.
Ford Transit Engine:
Browse forums and there are lots of debate mainly about the diesel engine of Transit. More or less up to 2003, it was a normal turbo diesel, Ford elegantly adding a high-pressure common-rail turbo diesel straight to the line-up. These are effectively badged TDCi over the prior TDI units. Early common-rail, the specific Transit designs can be challenging, though most of the problems are just because of fuel contamination.

If that is the actual case, the whole system will badly demand flushing, new injectors, an excellent replacement pump and pipes. Other muscular engines in the line-up included 2.3 petrol and a 2.4 liter TDI Engine for all back-wheel drive models, along with outputs ranging generally from 75PS to 145PS, the coming of the face lifted cool mk7 Transit carrying some nice transitions to the engine line-up, as well as taller headlights and few sheet-metal revisions. Get and compare Ford Transit engine prices in just few click for further detail visit fordtransitengine.co.uk.
Interior Specs:
Inside it marked a far neater dash layout, more driver’s seat modification but yet no height adjustable steering wheel. The complete engine range comprised of a 2.2 TDCI along with power production of 85, 110 or 135PS chiefly for front-wheel drive derivatives, the back-wheel drive maintaining the 2.4-litre unit along with three power outputs ranging mainly from 110 to 140PS.

Ford sustained to suggest the Mark 7 mainly with a 2.3-litre petrol, whereas a 3.2 TDCI with 200PS was also proposed on few rear-wheel drive models.
Maintenance:
Be cautious of the oil light, you have to get the engine shut off rapidly if it pops up. If you don’t it will likely snatch the engine. All blame will be on the oil pump, which can fail without any single notice. On 56 plated to 2012 models the engines often need a new vapor valve. It is not a tricky job to fix, although the engine requires re-coding afterwards. You'll be glancing at a bill of about £200. You’ll know if it desires doing if the van can cuts out at idle or hunts around for revs.
Verdict:
“Backbone of Britain, best-selling van for almost more than 40 years, a byword for the decent light commercial vehicles. Call it whatsoever one likes, the Ford Transit mk7 is the van by which all others are eagerly judged. If there is not a Transit that goes along with one’s business’ needs, the probabilities are one either doesn’t require a van or should be buying a much heavier vehicle.”

Grow your Business with the Ford Transit

Ford Transit
Ford Transit

The Ford Transit with a different look and efficient engine will help you to grow your business

Introduction

Ford produced a range of light commercial vehicles named as Ford Transit since 1965. The Ford Transit mostly used as a cargo van, the Transit also built as a minibus, cutaway van chassis, pickup truck and passenger van. Transit is the third best-selling van of all time with sale of over 8 million units. Since 1965 the Transit has been produced in 4 basic platform generations and many “facelift” version of each generation.
By the end of 20th century the Transit was marketed globally except North America. In 2015 Ford E-Series was replaced by it in North America. The Transit is very popular in many countries and in many countries the term “Transit” is in generic use even for any light commercial van. In Europe the Transit has been the best-selling light commercial vehicle for 40 years. The Transit is now produced in Europe, North America and Asia for buyers from all over the world, while initially it was designed for Europe only.

In ‘Motor Trends 2015’ the Transit won second place for the ‘Truck of the Year’ award in America. The Transit is the best-selling van in United States including the minivan sales. The Transit drives Ford's 57 % share of the full-size van market in the US.

Taunus Transit (1953-1965)

The first Transit van was introduced in Germany in 1953. It was then known as FK 1000, where FK refers to ‘Ford Koln’ and 1000 is for carry the 1000 kg. It was available in 3-door and 4-door van body style. Initially 1.3-litre straight-4 engine was included in it. The capacity of engine was enlarged to 1.5-litres in 1955. This vehicle was called the Ford Taunus Transit since 1961. In 1965  the production of this model ceased.

The British model produced from 1965 to 1978 was tagged as “Mark 1”. Since 1965 there has been four basic platforms, many upgrades and facelifts referred to range of “Mark” Numbers.
Ford's own historical look back at Transit production, published for the launch of the 1994 model, avoids the issue by referring to generations of Transit by years produced.

First generation (1965-1978)

The Transit Mark 1 or the first generation Transit was introduced in 1965 in United Kingdom. The Transit Mark 1 van was initially produced in Berkshire, England at Ford’s Langley facility but due to large demands the production was shifted to Southampton until its closure in 2013.
A mid-engine forward control van the Ford Thames 400E was replaced by the introduction of the Transit. Rootes group’s Commer, BMC J2 and J4 were competitors of Ford Thames 400E.

The Transit has also been produced in Turkey and Belgium. From the mid-1970s to end of 1981 the Transits were also produced for local market in Amsterdam. In this factory total 8000 units were produced in 6 years.
The Essex V4 petrol engines 1.7 L and 2.0 L were used in the United Kingdom. By using relatively short V-4 engines Ford were able to minimise the additional length necessitated to place the engine ahead of the driver. Perkins diesel engine with maximum output of 32kW (43 HP) was also offered. The version with diesel engine had a longer bonnet. The version with 3.0 L V6 diesel engine was used as an ambulance and a police van.
